Pro Pictures Look Alikes

We went and had our pictures taken and it was a nightmare. I overpaid and I didn't get very good shots. Plus the kids were not being good. Both were crying for no reason. It was crazy. So I decided from now on I'm going to take the pictures. So I did a little research and looked at professional pictures online to get some ideas. One of the hot trends that I noticed is to put your baby on common household items to show how tiny they are. I think most of the ones online was photo shopped. But I don't have that program so I decided that I could do it on my own. These pictures are very artsy, so I hope you like them.

WOW!!

I feel like I should brag a little about my kids. They have been learning and growing so much that I just have to tell everyone about it. We have been teaching Sarah letters and colors a lot within the past few months. So yesterday I decided to test her. She knows 17 letters and the sounds and she can associate a few of the letters with words that start with that letter. She also knows all of the colors and some of the sign language for the colors. I can't believe how smart she is. She just turned 20 months old! It is very unusual that someone as young as her would know the letters already. She is also amazing with puzzles. The puzzles that are for 3 year olds are too easy for her. She knows all her body parts and animal sounds (and she has since she was one). And yesterday she recognized 0-3 and 9. (which was the first time she has done that). She is fantastic at matching too. However, she is more than just smart. She is a very well rounded little girl. She loves playing with her babies and with Ryan. She is so sweet and cuddly, she is respectful too. If we tell her something is dangerous she very rarely does it again. However, she does continue to stand on the furniture even after we tell her not to. She loves to rough house with Josh and do all kinds of flips. It scares me to death! She mimics everything we do with Ryan and everything we say. She has an amazing imagination. I don't know how she comes up with the stuff she does. It is so awesome. She is so much fun!

Now I'm going to brag about my beautiful little boy. Ryan is such a sweetheart. I love learning more about him and his personality. Ryan has gotten into the habit of wanting to be held while he sleeps. Last night I put him in his bouncer chair (he likes to sleep upright vs on his back) and I laid down next to him. We just stared at each other in the eyes for the longest time. Then he slowly closed his eyes and I did the same. That was the best way to go to sleep that I have ever had in my life. I felt such a connection to my one month old baby boy.

I love my kids so much. I feel so blessed to be able to be their mom. I just hope that I don't let them down.
