First Birthday

The Parsons family moves into the next century by blogging. I love staying up to date on my friends lives, so I thought maybe we can keep others up to date on our lives by starting our own blog. I don't know how often I will up date this, but hopefully I will be able to keep up with it for awhile.

Sarah just turned one years old May 24th. I can't believe my baby is ONE!!! She had a great time at her birthday party! We had beautiful weather and she had so much fun playing with everyone. She loved the icing on the cake, but she wasn't too crazy about the actual cake. But her favorite thing was opening all her presents and ripping everything out of their packages. It was so funny to watch. She has grown so much in just one short little year. She is able to sign "more" and we are working on "all done" and "milk". She is also able to say "hello", "duck", "thank you", "mama" and "dada". But the best communication tool that she has is that she shakes her head no if she doesn't want something. That has been great! It has really cut down on the screaming which we have been working VERY hard on stopping. Six days after her birthday she started walking and now she almost never crawls. It is so cute to see this little person just walking around with a huge agenda on her mind. She is so much fun and has a very loving and funny personality.
